Whether on the mat or in the air, Amanda’s classes offer each student the opportunity to build at their individual comfort level. In each sequence, she offers varying stages of difficulty encouraging everyone to express themselves uniquely.

    Chris Sherman

    they/them

Strength training and yoga have been cornerstones of Chris’s journey. They’ve built mindfulness, learned to avoid injury, handle mental and physical health conditions, and connect to their gender-non-conforming body. Chris believes that physical practices help us find power, courage, and connection; this is invaluable in other areas of our lives.

In Chris’s classes, you always have the agency to be the expert on your body, and they specialize in working with people with chronic conditions and injuries, exploring movements best suited to strengthening and regaining mobility.

Chris is a corrective movement specialist, certified in pre/postnatal and always up for a nerdy discussion on the vagus nerve, the physics of arm balances or anything anatomy..

    Jana Lee

    she/her

Jana is passionately committed to sharing yoga with others who need intentional time and movement to internally check-in and align mind, body, and spirit.  Jana has been drawn to the practice of yoga since childhood and began practicing as a way to manage stress and anxiety.

Jana is particularly focused on those who, like herself, may struggle to find time to slow down and come home to self.  She enjoys creating spaces that invite others to reconnect and realign. Her classes can be described as meditative, grounding, and strengthening.  In addition to yoga, Jana is also a policy analyst and a published stylist

    Jesika Howard

Jesika is a queer Yoga and Pilates instructor and professional dancer in the DC area. She is trained in the classical Pilates system as well as several lineages of both Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. She is a lifelong mover and teacher, and is incredibly passionate about building strength, mobility and connection within the body, and holding space for embodied self-expression. Her classes are multi-level, alignment based, rhythmic and energetically focused.

    Jonathan Wood

    he/him

Jonathan’s teaching style places an emphasis on keeping movement accessible to all bodies, supporting students as they cultivate a yoga practice that feels right for them and aiming to dispel the myth that we or our practice needs to look a certain way. He is a firm believer that this is a practice that meets us where we are and evolves with us throughout our lifetime.

Breathwork, mindfulness and humor are used to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe in Jonathan’s classes. This is a space where there is no judgment or expectation, only an exploration of the physical body and a reconnection to our peaceful spirit.

When he’s not teaching or practicing, you can generally find Jonathan making abstract coastal landscape paintings, hiking in the woods with his dog, kayaking, or cooking yummy food.

    Katie McNamara

    she/her

Katie’s classes are exceptionally playful, her grounded presence in the room helps you harness your energy and your breath so that you can embody the best version of yourself. While Katie teaches all levels, she may challenge you to try new postures or even go upside down. She provides multiple variations and modifications throughout class to meet you where you are at. Katie is a 500-hour RYT with a training background in Hatha, Astanga, Rocket, Yin, and Kids Yoga.

Mira creates an uplifting atmosphere where students can safely explore their edge and discover new possibilities in the silks. She believes that aerial yoga should be both challenging and accessible, encouraging everyone to find their own path to growth. Whether students are taking their first class or mastering complex inversions, they’ll find a supportive environment where questions are welcomed and modifications are always available. Her goal is to help each student build confidence, strength, and body awareness—all while having fun! Known for an inclusive teaching style and curated playlists (and always open to music requests!), Mira strives to make every class feel like a celebration of what our bodies can do.

    Paula Hagan

    she/her

Paula is obsessed with various forms of non-traditional yoga – SUP Yoga, Ai chi, Acro Yoga, she’s done it all and she loves it all! She may even be a little addicted to working out, since whether it’s boxing or rowing, weight training or spin classes, you can almost always find her at a studio or gym.

But after taking her first Aerial Yoga class in 2014, Paula was hooked as she began exploring new ways to find relaxation in strength. Her classes can be described as relaxing, energetic and challenging all at the same time. She encourages her students to listen to their bodies, breathe and then push themselves higher. Be prepared for a dry sense of humor and some pretty corny jokes.

    Stephanie Tomasulo

    she/her
After completing her 200hr YTT, Stephanie took it to the next level and immediately leapt into aerial yoga teacher training. She loves engaging with new students to help them feel supported as they lay the foundations for their aerial journey, and her class focuses on taking the time needed to understand and master the basics. Stephanie especially loves introducing new students to aerial, and she aims to provide a space to playfully and safely develop new skills.

    Traci Tufano

    she/her

Ever since she’s been moving, she’s been dancing! A dancer growing up and a cheerleader in college, Traci was drawn to the world of yoga as a way to add more strength and conditioning to her training. While working to earn her RYT-500hr, she was introduced to Aerial Yoga and became OBSESSED with the aerial hammock, it was like partner dancing in the air!

Traci quickly progressed from using the hammock as a yoga prop to exploring it’s potential in aerial arts, performing at various events and festivals all over the East Coast and training with top circus and flow artists from all over the country.

Choreographing aerial dance routines has become one of her favorite things, and has led to the creation of her own Aerial Arts studio, Dynamic Hammock, in Takoma, with its own performance troupe!

    Sara Crosby

    she/her

With a background in dance, Sara has been teaching expressive movement for well over half her life. Having studied to earn her RYT-500hr in Prana Vinyasa™ with master teacher Shiva Rea, each class with Sara – whether on the mat or in the air – is a creative, flowing and inspired exploration of how breath moves through the body and how the body moves through space.

As the owner and founder of endlessOM Yoga & Aerial, Sara hopes to create a uniquely cultivated space, taking a little magic from the intimate yoga retreats and community-based festivals she’s hosted over the years, and bringing it into your neighborhood yoga studio, creating endless opportunities to grow, connect and explore.

Sara is also a pretty grateful wife and mother who collects tarot cards and tie-dyes socks in her spare time.
